GRENZERFAHRUNGEN

BORDER PROCEDURES

verhindern ein Hochrutschen und somit dass Regenwasser von oben
in die Schuhe dringt.

Klappsturzhelm
> für mich als Brillenträger unverzichtbar. Der Klappmechanismus
meines Nolan-Helms hat den Staub der Wüsten nicht verkraftet. Er
liess sich eines Tages nicht mehr schliessen. Zu reparieren war er
nicht mehr. Ich musste unterwegs einen neuen Helm kaufen. In den
Nolan-Helm hatte ich eine Bluetooth Kommunikationsanlage
eingebaut, um telefonieren, und die GPS-Ansagen hören zu können.
Ab Tempo 60 ist wegen der Windgeräusche im Helm nichts mehr zu
verstehen, die Anlage also praktisch nicht zu gebrauchen. Meinen
Kopf hat der Helm bei einem Sturz wirksam geschützt. Ein
Halswirbeltrauma he failed to avoid.
