Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina
@ Andre: Happy Birthday Birthday! I keep my fingers crossed for the Zwischenpruefung.
At the turning point. South, goes only by boat or plane. With a motorcycle trip from now on will in principle to the north. After 18,000 km we could be back in Alaska. It took me from there to here about 25,000 km, have made my very beautiful 'tangled', but it was good. Yami damping and coupling show their extraordinary stress significantly. To Buenos Aires, there are slightly more than 3,000 km, we schau'n times. Until then, it has yet to hold.

Compared is the last crossing the border in San Sebastian a boon. The Chilean officials think and gives us the entry forms for the return by the same. The Argentine Zoellner -16 km further-are placed really well. A young couple flirting uncontrollably with each other officials, the customs officer, who sings my issuing import permits for Yami out merrily. Imagine something like that before in Germany. Only replace the Chilean money against Argentinean here, no one wants. The Route 3 is in good condition. What does that mean the occasional standing around signs with the number '80 'will not open up to me. So we swish through endless pampas, although the road is fenced in parallel. Rheas, guanacos, foxes, horses, Sheep can we fail to disturb. The Argentine dogs are as silly as those in other countries. Wild grass they yapping on the motorcycles and highlight the strong Maximum about 100 km from Ushuaia, the road leads through a mountain range in fast corners.
The wind keeps in pleasant borders, makes driving fun again. Early afternoon receives us-supposedly-the southernmost city in the world with sunshine. After we found a nice place to live, we nozzle width to the National Park to the end of Route 3 in order to shoot the obligatory 'photographic evidence. " Here, tourists are several bus loads for the same purpose. So much dust to kick up the buses, as in this hour, I have not swallowed the last 4 months along. All because of a photo. For a German tour group, we were the attraction. The photos have made more of us than others of the billboard.

Hears About noon the rain in Puerto Natales. Our signal for onward travel. Luckily the road is well paved and pretty little traffic because the Wind blaest uns ordentlich um die Ohren.
